Asus Eee PC 1000H Gets 160GB Hard Drive

After Microsoft has lifted its 80GB hard drive cap on netbooks, Asus is quick to the game by working on a 160GB hard drive that will ship with each Asus Eee PC 1000H. Unfortunately, it is rather strange to note that that 160GB hard drive model won’t come with the new Intel Atom processor but will rely on the older Intel Celeron 900MHz processor instead. Perhaps that is a way for Asus to move away their old stock? Would you sacrifice the faster processor for more storage space? I know I wouldn’t - that’s why there are

external hard drives around. Anyways, 80GB should be more than adequate for something as casual as a netbook. The 160GB Asus Eee PC 1000H netbook can be yours for $499.
